About World Central Kitchen

World Central Kitchen is an organization focused on providing food relief by immediately serving chef prepared meals to communities in need. They are also focused on advancing human and environmental health by providing access to culinary training and improving food security. They work with hundreds of restaurant partners across Ukraine, and serving out of hospitals, shelters, transit hubs and more they provide hundreds of thousands of nourishing meals for people in need every day. They are also working to get bulk food products into communities that are under attack.

Ukrainian Crisis

The goal of this event is to bring the community together and spread awareness about what is happening in Ukraine. At least 12 million people have been displaced as a result of Russia’s brutal invasion. 5 million have fled to neighboring countries and the other 7 remain in the countries, many refugees have returned to Ukraine especially to cities such as Kyiv. Many people are in need of basic hygiene supplies, food, transportation, medical care and shelter. This is not something that just affects Ukraine, it affects the entire world.
