Locally organized fund-raising and donation drives
Vermont For Ukraine: Medical Supply Drive
Vermont For Ukraine is an initiative started by two medical students in the Larner College of Medicine at The University of Vermont with a mission to provide essential medical supplies and aid to those affected by the war in Ukraine. Donations can be dropped off at any Vermont Flannel location through May 15th. Visit their website (linked below) to see the list of medical supplies they are collecting.
Ukraine War Volunteers Support
Join Friend2Friend Vermont and Girls Lead, two local community action groups in collaboration with our Ukrainian neighbors living in Jericho to raise relief funds for war volunteers in Odessa, Ukraine. The first 20 people to donate $50 or more will receive a dozen delicious dumplings made by F2F and GL with guidance from our Ukranian friends. A special thanks to the Richmond Community Kitchen, Sweet Simones, and ReFind Boutique for also helping with this project. To donate, click on the link https://www.paypal.com/pools/c/8Je6AVcikp.
Cambridge Area Rotary Ukraine ShelterBox Fundraiser
The Cambridge Rotary is reaching out to the community for donations to purchase multiple ShelterBox kits to send to the Ukraine refugees in and around Ukraine.
Cambridge Area Rotary will match your contribution, purchasing up to 2 additional boxes on top of what the community donates for these boxes!
Vermonters for Ukraine
Larissa Haas is from Ukraine, but lives in Barre and runs a bakery with her husband Jim. Her heart is breaking with the news of what is happening to her home country. She is trying to raise money to send essentials like hygiene products, clothes, food, first aid and medications to Ukraine. Please help Larissa give back to her fellow Ukrainians by contributing whatever you can.
Vermont Plants Sunflowers for Ukraine
Our mission is to inspire countless acts of solidarity with the people of Ukraine by planting thousands upon thousands of sunflowers in every corner of Vermont. Come late summer and fall, our message of yellow sunflowers splashed against our blue Vermont sky will give us all hope. In ways big and small we will show the world that we stand with the people of Ukraine.
Ukrainian Flags for Vermonters
I am a simple Vermonter in Montpelier who has started making Ukrainian flags for anyone who wants one. These are made with love for Ukraine and are entirely free, and I am making as many as I can each day. I hope to keep making them as long as any Vermonter wants them…
